The Qaimariyte Dome in Jerusalem

During the time of the great warrior Salah ad-Din al-Ayubi, they were known as the Qaimari Thunderbolt Squad, After a life filled with fighting and defending Jerusalem, they passed away and were buried at Kubat al-Qaimariyeh in West Jerusalem.

This historical Islamic place, over 900 years old, holds significant importance for Muslims. It carries great historical and cultural significance within the Muslim community.

The Qaimariyeh Dome, a historical Islamic site over 900 years old, holds immense significance for Muslims. It is the resting place of four great warrior martyrs: Prince Hussam al-Din, Prince Diaa al-Din, Prince Naser al-Din Abu al-Hasan al-Qaimari, and Prince Naser al-Din Khaber Bek. These individuals played significant roles in Islamic history and are revered by the Muslim community.

Unfortunately, this sacred site has faced challenges in recent times. It has been targeted by Jewish organizations with intentions of occupying the area, resulting in the destruction of tombs, curtains, and even desecration of copies of the Qur'an. These actions have caused deep pain and distress among Muslims worldwide.

To protect and preserve the Qaimariyeh Dome, it is crucial to raise awareness about its historical and cultural importance. This can be achieved through various means:

  1. Education and Documentation: Conduct thorough research on the history, significance, and architectural features of the Qaimariyeh Dome. Documenting this information accurately and making it accessible to a wider audience will help promote its value.

  2. Advocacy: Engage with local and international organizations that specialize in preserving cultural heritage sites. Collaborate with them to raise awareness about the importance of protecting the Qaimariyeh Dome and seek their support in safeguarding the site.

  3. Legal Protection: Work with local authorities and relevant heritage organizations to ensure legal protection for the Qaimariyeh Dome. This can involve designating it as a protected historical site and implementing regulations to prevent any further damage or occupation attempts.

The Qaimariyte Dome is a significant historical Islamic site that houses the tombs of four great warrior martyrs. These include Prince Hussam al-Din, son of Abu al-Fawares al-Qaimari, who passed away in 648 Hijri; Prince Diaa al-Din, son of Abu al-Fawares, who passed away in 638 Hijri; Prince Naser al-Din, Abu al-Hasan al-Qaimari, who passed away in 661 Hijri; and Prince Naser al-Din Khaber Bek. The Qaimariyte Dome holds a special place in Islamic history and serves as a memorial for these respected figures.


This historical Islamic site has been attacked by a Jewish organizations in an attempt to occupy the place. The attackers destroyed the tombs, cut the curtains, and defiled the old copies of the Qur'an by tearing them and throwing them on the floor. They also walked on them and showed disrespect.

In order to prevent any future attacks, the Dome of Qaimaris has been secured with a thick iron gate, effectively sealing off the area. Additionally, the six donoms that surround the main dome have been transformed into a public playground, providing a recreational space for the community.

The Dome of Qaimaris is located in the western part of Jerusalem, specifically on shtraws Street at Naveem Junction. This location holds historical and cultural significance, making it an important landmark within the city.

It is noteworthy that the Qaimari family, descendants of the historical figures associated with the Qaimaris Dome, are still residents of Jerusalem. The family is highly educated and holds a respected position among the people of Jerusalem. Their lineage connects them to the rich history and heritage of the city.

The Qaimari family's continued presence in Jerusalem serves as a testament to their deep-rooted connection to the land and their commitment to preserving their cultural legacy.
